A Journaler’s Daily Prayer
Lord, I come to You humbly with a surrendered heart. Help me understand all Your precepts, commands, and promises as I read Your Word and journal today. I want to know You better, learn more about Your character, and grow closer to You one day at a time.
Renew my mind. Strengthen my heart. Refresh my soul.
You have blessed my life in countless ways. I am giving thanks for all Your wonderful works. My heart is filled with gratitude.
Thanks for being a God of endless chances. Because of Your faithfulness, my life is filled with unlimited opportunities amid a worldwide health crisis. You have been the strength amid pressing life circumstances, a refuge when faced with opposition, rejection or failure, and my never-ending joy in unexpected crisis, grief, and sorrow.
You are Merciful,
You are Gracious,
You are Lovingkindness,
You are Truth.
Since You know me by name, I place my trust in You alone. How can I not trust Your heart?
Your mercies are new every morning,
Your forgiveness is readily available,
Your compassion warms my heart,
Your understanding soothes my mind,
Your love wraps-around my life,
Your protection delivers me from danger,
Your promises inspire my soul.
You are All-Powerful.
You are my God!
How can I not hope for a future?
You calm my anxious heart, encourage me to take the next step, and work diligently in all of my life situations. When I have been silenced by overwhelming circumstances, the Holy Spirit intervenes on my behalf.
Thank You, Jesus, for the power of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of journaling.
In the peaks, You pleasantly surprise me with unimaginable outcomes.
Your plans are so much more elaborate than I can ever envision.
You continue to work out miracles in my life.
You are wise and I can always confide in Your plan.
You are mindful and genuinely care about my well-being.
Your love endures forever.
Encourage me to read, reflect, and keep every Scripture deep in my heart so I may always discern ‘how to proceed’ when navigating thru confusion, turmoil, or chaos. I want to live my life in a manner that is worthy of the Gospel.
You are my Savior, Deliverer, Healer, and the wisest Counselor. Teach me Your ways.
I rejoice today as I stand firmly on your Word. I celebrate Your presence in my life as You walk alongside of me. I am forever grateful for the peace and hope I find in You alone. I praise You for your never-ending grace, forgiveness, and faithfulness. Help me love others who may be challenging to care for and maintain peace everywhere I go. I want to be a “child of salt and light” and always share Your love with others.
In Jesus’ name, I courageously praise and boldly pray. Amen.
His Grace
When we are caught in fierce storms of life,
‘an inescapable shadow of darkness overwhelms our souls’,
all we need is His light to shine the way out.
Surrender. Believe. Trust.
He hears our cries for joy.
He hears our cries for help.
He hears our cries for hope.
He hears our cries for mercy.
He hears our cries for repentance.
He hears our cries for forgiveness.
He hears our cries for compassion.
His Grace is sufficient in our pain.
His Grace is sufficient in our fears.
His Grace is sufficient in our anger.
His Grace is sufficient in our despair.
His Grace is sufficient in our distress.
His Grace sufficient in our weakness.
His Grace is sufficient in our loneliness.
He walks alongside of those whose spirits are crushed!
He utterly understands.
Let us praise our Lord and Savior in the fierce storms of life.
His Grace is sufficient.
