Temptations do not come from our Lord. He would never tempt us (James 1:13). The temptation is birthed out of our own desires, flesh, or lust. Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by the devil (Matthew 4:1) yet the High Priest stood firm, prayed, and did not sin. Satan is the father of lies who deceives all of us and will find subtle ways to trick us into temptations; his main intent is to steal, kill, and destroy our future. Satan wants us to be dead in our transgressions, defeated and hopeless. Be mindful of his wicked ways, subtle plans or means, and intent. He can even be disguised as an angel of Light. Satan wants us to remain helpless over all types of temptations. We need more of Jesus in today’s fast-paced world and less of worldly desires. Be Relentless with the Armor of God.
